Last updated: October 7, 2026
The short version
- Use our hosting, email and domains lawfully, and don’t harm other people, networks or our systems.
- No spam, malware, phishing, hacking or illegal content.
- Copyright notices are handled under Canada’s notice-and-notice system.
- Report abuse to hello@digital-market-club.com.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to everything you do with our services: websites, email mailboxes and domain names, including anything your users or visitors do through them. It is part of our Terms of Service.
2. What isn’t allowed
- Anything illegal under the laws of Canada, or under the laws that apply to you or your audience.
- Content that sexually exploits children. We report it to the authorities.
- Fraud, phishing, scams, impersonation, or selling or sharing stolen data.
- Malware, viruses, or links designed to infect or take over other people’s devices.
- Infringing copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
- Threats, harassment, or content that unlawfully promotes hatred or violence.
- Using a domain name to infringe someone else’s rights or to mislead people.
- Using so much server capacity that it degrades service for other customers, or running things our plans aren’t meant for, such as cryptocurrency mining or open proxies.
3. Email and spam
- Follow Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Send commercial email only to people who have consented, identify yourself, and include a working unsubscribe option.
- No unsolicited bulk email, purchased or scraped mailing lists, or forged sender details.
- Don’t send email in volumes beyond what your plan is meant for.
- Don’t run open mail relays.
4. Security
- Don’t try to access accounts, systems or data that aren’t yours.
- Don’t scan, probe or attack other networks or our systems. This includes denial-of-service attacks.
- Keep your website software up to date and use strong passwords.
- If your site or mailbox is compromised, we may disable the affected part to protect you and others, then work with you to fix it.
5. What we do about violations
- We look into reports and may remove or disable content, limit or suspend a service, or end it, depending on how serious the problem is.
- When it is reasonable to do so, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- We may act immediately for illegal content, active attacks, malware, spam, or harm to others.
- We may refer domain abuse to NameSilo or the registry.
- We report illegal activity to the authorities when the law requires it.
6. Copyright notices (notice and notice)
As a hosting provider in Canada, we follow the notice-and-notice system in sections 41.25 to 41.27 of the Copyright Act.
If you’re a copyright owner
Send your notice of claimed infringement to hello@digital-market-club.com with the subject “Copyright notice”. Include what the Copyright Act requires:
- your name and address;
- the work and your rights in it;
- the location (URL) of the material you say infringes;
- the infringement claimed; and
- the date and time of the alleged infringement.
Under the Act, a notice that includes an offer to settle, a demand for payment or personal information, or a link to such an offer is not a valid notice.
What we do with a valid notice
- We forward it electronically to the customer, without delay.
- We tell you that it was forwarded, or why it couldn’t be.
- We keep the records the Act requires, for the period it requires.
- Forwarding a notice doesn’t mean we agree that anything infringes.
- We don’t give a customer’s identity to the person sending the notice unless a court orders it or the law otherwise requires it.
- Separately from notice and notice, we may act under this policy if material is clearly unlawful.
If you’re our customer and receive a notice
A notice is not a court decision and doesn’t by itself require you to pay anything. You may want to get legal advice.
7. Reporting abuse
- Email hello@digital-market-club.com with the subject “Abuse report”.
- Include the website address, domain or email involved, what happened, and when. For spam, include the full email headers.
- We look into every report.
- We don’t share the reporter’s identity with the customer unless the reporter agrees or the law requires it.
- To report child sexual abuse material, also contact Cybertip.ca or your local police.
